Catherine O’Driscoll is a founding member/trustee of the Pet Welfare Alliance and has spearheaded research into the causes of canine health and ill health since forming Canine Health Concern in 1994. She is author of seminal best-selling books ‘What Vets Don’t Tell You About Vaccines’ and ‘Shock to the System’, and recipient of the Maxwell Award from the Dog Writer’s Association of America for the DVD ‘In Search of the Truth About Dogs’.
In 1996, Catherine instigated the world’s first veterinary post-vaccine survey involving some 4,000 dogs. This research revealed that a high proportion of illnesses in dogs first start within three months of a vaccine event.
Catherine has written for many dog publications in the UK and North America, and is a regular contributor to Dogs Naturally magazine. In 1998, her work was the subject of a prime time TV documentary, World in Action’s ‘Fatal Affection’. Catherine is also an EFT practitioner and animal communicator. ‘The Animals’ Agenda’ combines these two disciplines and describes how animals have been concerned with human growth since the beginning of time.

Catherine has lectured on holistic canine healthcare, animal communicating and Emotional Freedom Technique in many countries of the world.
She runs the non-profit Canine Health Concern and the Pet Welfare Alliance with her husband and co-founder of the Pet Welfare Alliance Rob Ellis.
