Richard Allport  BVet Med, VetMFHom, MRCVS

Richard Allport, BVetMed, VetMFHom, MRCVS qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1973. He gained his VetMFHom (Veterinary Member of the Faculty of Homoeopathy) in 1989 and since 1996 has run a referral centre in Hertfordshire specialising in acupuncture, homoeopathy and other natural medicines for pets. He also sees patients one day a week in London.

Richard has written several books on natural health for pets, writes a monthly column in Dogs Today magazine, and is a regular guest on local radio programmes such as BBC Radio London's 'Barking at the Moon'.



Richard has fed his own dogs on raw meaty bone diets for the last fifteen years and promotes healthy natural diets for his patients. He doesn't give his own dogs booster vaccines once they are adults, and - because he has seen and treated many vaccine damaged dogs - doesn't advise them for his patients.
