Thilo HANE is a French former financial services Manager (BA in Economics _ Canada) today stay at home parent living in Brittany and owned by her 2 Irish Wolfhounds, 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Schipperke, Cat, 2 Children and Husband. She strongly believe in Mother Nature wisdom and minimal human artificial intervention: gave birth to both her children at home, breastfed them a year each and refused some controversial children vaccines and interventions.
She studied dog genetics at the Institute of Canine Biology, showed her dogs all over the world for 15 years and done some really fun dog-therapy activities with her Ridgebacks (Press).
She is also involved with assignments from the International Dog Health Workshops.
After witnessing several mistreatments and genetic impoverishment in purebred dogs breeding activities in France (ending up in cruel health conditions for dogs and desperate emotional and financial situations for owners) entertained by the French kennel club policies, she founded her lobbying animal protection association in September 24th, 2015: Canis Ethica. Her first aim obtaining introduction of “welfare”, “mistreatments”, “genetic impoverishment” words in the French Kennel Club status. The Ministry of Agriculture granted it as early as 2016.
December 15th, 2015 while invited by a friend to like the Rabies Challenge Fund (Kris Christine) page on Facebook, she discovered that the USA is using a 1992 French study by a French scientific vet named Dr. Michel AUBERT which proved in France that rabies vaccine correctly administered, immunize our animals at least 5 years. That revelation turned her world upside down and ever since she has been undertaking extensive correspondence with international organizations, government regulators, veterinary associations, veterinary academics and vaccine company representatives regarding over-vaccination (yearly boosters) of pets.
When most European countries already adopted 3 years vaccine protocol, France is still revaccinating every year with all core and non-core vaccines.
Thilo is trying to bring some awareness to French pet owners as respect to adverse reactions, over-vaccination. Her aim, obtaining 3 years vaccination regulation in France and then having most pet owners who do not show, travel, use boarding kennel, etc. to use vaccicheck (legally unrecognized) to spare their pets with health troubles and suffering whenever possible.
September 13th, 2017 after writing to all government instances over 2 years, she lodged a complaint to the European commission against France policies in regard of pets’ vaccination. She is asking the European commission to have France respecting the EU Directive 2014/28/Ce which asks for veterinary protocol and products harmonization in Europe.
She now needs support with her petition from “healthy pets” lovers all around the world.
