Charissa Smith BVSc,  Dip Herb Med, Dip Struct Bal, Reiki master holds a veterinary degree from the University of Sydney 1968.

In 1993 she qualified as a Veterinary Homeopath and Acupuncturist, and practices from Acacia Animal Care Gatton.

Dr Smith is devoted to sharing the natural healthcare message with pet owners and other veterinarians. She supports the feeding of fresh organic food,  minimal safe vaccination, humane breeding and caring practices, and the use of homeopathic and herbal  and nutriceutical medicines and acupuncture  where applicable as a replacement or support for accepted pharmaceuticals.  She is the author of “ The Little Black Book,  Quantitative Homeopathic Research”.
