Dana Scott is the publisher and editor of Dogs Naturally Magazine. This fast growing print publication was devised to bring awareness to pet owners of the dangers surrounding the veterinary over-servicing of pets. It focuses on homeopathy, traditional Chinese medicine, vaccine dangers, nutrition and living a lifestyle centered on health, not disease. Through the magazine, Dana has been privileged to work with some amazing people including Drs Patricia Jordan, Don Hamilton, Charles E. Loops, and Catherine O’Driscoll.
Dana is also a natural rearing breeder of Labrador Retrievers. Her Fallriver dogs are not subjected to flea and tick meds, dewormers, heartworm meds, pharmaceutical products and unnecessary vaccinations and are national specialty show winners with additional titles in the field and obedience, proving that breeders can have it all. Although Dana has been raw feeding for 15 years, she didn’t move away from allopathic treatment until, ironically, one of her puppies became ill with parvo. When she saw how fast and easily the puppy was able to recover with a strong immune system and some herbal and homeopathic support, Dana was convinced that drugs and disease suppression were less effective than creating health from the inside out. Dana now spends her days advocating this way of life through the magazine, hoping to influence as many pet owners and vets as possible.
